A few other threads dotted about but figured I would update where I am and see where I go next!
How it started, as I got hold of it Click image to enlarge Added some noise insulation all over and then added some noise back for inside Click image to enlarge Added air suspension, On Air, removed the light guards and changed the LEDs to Nolden's. Canopy has been fantastic, easy to clean, keeps the back bone dry, cost a lot but worth it. Did a bunch of stuff inside, double DIN Carplay, alcantara headlining and changed the seats to leather OEM modulars and added some bits of leather trim Road mode Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Parked and aired out Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Rear arches were on when I bought it and I think it looks a little odd as the wheel sits further inside the arch than the front. Need to have a think about that Probably going to look at some tyres in the short term. Do a lot of field stuff so better mud performance could be useful. MT's? Currently on 265, could go 285.... bit of research required Ultimately would like to go V8 upfront but that will have to wait a little while |
