Two questions - Towing Electrics and Initials

Hi folk

First question: I read a few weeks ago on the forum about charging the LR battery from the towing socket but the thread refered to a 13 pin socket.

I've inherited two sockets, an "N" and "S" type but think I should be able to use two pins off the "S" type socket.

Question is should I use Pins 3 (Earth) and 2 (Listed as Battery charge) or Pins 3 (Earth) and 4 (Listed as 12V Aux power) ???

Second question: When you guys (and gals) list your vehicle (e.g. 2015MY), some put the year and "MY" ... does that stand for Manufacture Year??

MY = model year.
Usually a model year is introduced before 1st January. Sometimes 6 months, or even more.

Caravan Club recommend using Terminal 4 (green) for 12v pos and Terminal 3 (white) for earth with a 12S socket. Defender 90XS SW
