Before I start, I am aware that this probably indicates that I have too much time on my hands
Anyway, I bought a Defendoor a little while ago and got to thinking that it would be easy to forget it after filling up, so I came up with this as a small modification: Click image to enlarge Bascially, I've glued a carefully shaped piece of rubber sheet to the back that fits over the filler neck. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge I used rubber and glue so that it won't scratch the paint when it's hanging down on the side of the wing. The only thing I'm not sure about is whether the type of glue I've used, which is a general purpose Bostik, is ideal for sticking rubber to plastic. It's all I had to hand at the time, but I can always get something more appropriate as long as the general principle works. That's a good idea, I lost my original Defendoor when I forgot to refit it after refuelling. Steve.
