Had more practice as just noticed earlier post should be installed upside down to get best results - so off they came and on they went again
![]() Fitted VW relay at the same time, so now have variable wipe speed. Forward vision should be hopefully much clearer now ![]() |

Just turned my Siliblades up the other way to see if they work better. I can't believe it will make any difference, but it's worth a try.
When's it going to rain next.....? |

Only just replaced mine (Bosch) and so far so good but will try these next time around.
For comparison, the Bosch ones were £14 for the pair. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion. |

Tried to buy a pair of Tripledge blades but out of stock until December so took th eplunge and bought a pair of these.
Spent 10 minutes fiting the first (couldn't remeber how to do it and got confused with all the extra attachments!) one before realising it was up side down, so took it off and put it on up the right way ...... until reading these threads. ![]() oh well - I'll switch them over at some point. Have to say they're a hundred times better than the Bosch ones I put on last year. Ross. |

The new Siliblades worked really well in the rain today, impressed++ with the extra clarity. New variable wipe speed in the drizzle also very useful

Just noticed now that one Silblade wiper was not wiping properly. I took it off to inspect and the edge basically just crumbled in my hands. The other side is still looking brand new - WTF?
On closer inspection it turns out that someone has 'substituted' the driver's side Silblade with a normal wiper blade. My land has been sitting at the local stealer for the past 3 weeks, so it's not hard to figure who did it! ![]() 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged ![]() ![]() Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |
