Not another Ctek Post?
Not exactly. I already have two Ctek MXS 5.0 smart chargers which have given great service. I'm more than happy with Ctek but as I'm now looking for a third smart charger my eyes are drawn to the Noco Genius 5. I have a Noco Boost GB70 starter which I'm very impressed with, it seems to hold charge for months on end and has no trouble starting my tractor with a 3.4 litre diesel engine on the coldest of mornings.

So the question is does anyone have any experience of the Noco smart chargers? Defender 90XS SW

Hello discomog

Thought i'd join in with this... Thumbs Up

I recently posted a question, more or less in the same area...

https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic76371-30.html

I now have a NOCO GBX75 Mr. Green and have been using a C-TEK MXS 5.0 for a few years now.

I charged the NOCO up via the supplied USB-C Cable (plugged into a 'redundant' Samsung Phone Charger) and over night the NOCO charged from its partially Charged 'shipped' Status to 100%...

All good and going forward this is acceptable especially as the NOCO is a carry and forget 'get out of jail' insurance step for me just in case...and the NOCO lithium battery is reported to hold its charge for months post charging.

I have NO issue with the C-TEK, it's been great, they look to have a very creditable range of Products (forever expanding as the EV world heads towards us).

I was just wondering... Can you charge a NOCO with a C-TEK... Question

Are you 'just' wanting another Charger or a faster more 'optimum' way to Charge your NOCO... Question SKIP

Hi Skip, no I'm just looking for another charger. I would have automatically gone for another Ctek MXS 5.0 but now that Noco have introduced a range of smart chargers onto the UK market I'm tempted to try a Noco charger. Defender 90XS SW

Thumbs Up

The NOCO jump starters looks to be good pieces of kit,
so the Chargers should follow the same approach...

Good Luck SKIP
