Just completed my reservation and received confirmation email, but configuration button took me to unknown territory. I do like that light blue, although I was hoping for a Deep Bronze Green option. Also wonder if Mulgo will get around to a pop top convertion, which would be great for the base 2 seater, even though it still has the 6 doors! 1955 Series 1 107" Pick up.

I don’t think I could bring myself to cut the roof on a brand new vehicle.
The colour selection is actually really good. The deep red and the green are both really nice. As is the mushroom! Better colour choices than the Defender for me. |

The Expedition Centre do a really good job and for the Defender it actually improves structural rigidity. I know that is a bolted unit, but would imagine the chopped off version on the 70 Series Cruiser would be similarly stronger than the standard structure. Having managed to get to the configurator, I was well pleased to see the solid green with a white roof, gullwing access where rear side windows would have been, bull bar and checker plate for the wing tops.

Looks great. Interesting that you found a bull bar. No bull bar on my configurator. Nor checkerplate. Did you choose the commercial variant?

Still not an option for me…
I wonder whether the configurator changes by country? I’ve now tried all variants to see if that option of checkerplate and bullbar appear, but can’t find them anywhere… |

That spec shows utility panels non opening. Is it a commercial? Just wondering why some show an opening panel... 1951 80" S1 2.0

Nice. How amazing that there are multiple colours i like, whereas for the Defender the problem was I didn’t like most of them at all, and the rest not much…

If you deselect the utility panel option, it opens up the option for gullwing windows. |
