After much deliberations finally decided to drop the hammer and hand over my wagon to Tweaked Automotive for a full ‘Spectre’ conversion:
https://www.tweakedautomotive.com/land-rov...e-edition/ A ‘3-4 week build’ turned into a 3 month one (admittedly I was adding bits to it such as billet mirror arms and Optimill hinges ++) but at long last she was ready to pick up. Before: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge And after! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge As you can see quite the difference! Only driven it once so far and that was weighted down with all the bits taken off (watch out for a big For Sale post soonest) and 35’’ tyres are a different ride for sure. Can’t say it was cheap but it has transformed and already cool wagon into something pretty unique. Could have gone down cheaper routes but having the exclusivity is always nice. One of 20 builds to date and the only Utility they have converted so far so 1 of 1 in the UK by Tweaked anyway! Happy Camper here |

Certainly aggressive, I guess it’s more of a toy if your running them tires?

It certainly dominates the road a lot more and the 'old' version wasnt a shy retiring type either! The tyres....yes 35'' is a new one on me so a LOT more tyre noise and it looks like maximum of 70 ish mph from now on. It's Alive Stage 2 tuned and pre Tweaked I've had (on a private road of course) over a ton. Guess those days are gone now but it does look the part. I've got other cars as dailies so this will be more of an occasion car and forms part of my Zombie Apocalypse Plan. |

I've read on the Maxxis site that they have a max speed of 130 kmh so just over 80 mph. Not sure what happens if you go much over that though... |

Being a 2012 model, make sure you have the axle brackets that prevent the hubs falling off.
I would think that larger tyres and larger offsets put more strain on the joint. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

Looks very nice if you don’t mind asking what seats are they? Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.
5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details |

They are Corbeau heated buckets-not sure of the exact model though. Am sure someone on here will be able to help?
Dont normally go for buckets but these are pretty comfortable and the heated element is a bit strong to be honest. |
