Went to see my local non-GoOutdoors outdoor shop last week (https://www.actionoutdoors.co.uk/) which turns out to be a fairly small outbuilding on a farm trading estate. Explained the problem and was recommended a Keela Munro jacket. Tried on various sizes but none were quite right. Tried a Paramo Alta III and that wasn't right either. Then tried a Paramo Helki and that felt perfect so bought a black one. The wife spotted a ladies Alta III and loved it so what with that and a Zefira Fleece that she'd found it became rather an expensive trip despite negotiating a package deal discount

Now we need some proper rain to test the new gear...
