First overland

I had a paperback of this book by Tim Slessor years ago, lent it to someone and never saw it again. Today an original hardback arrived which I’ve left on my son’s bedside table. He’s 14 and I just hope he enjoys it.

Considering what the book is about, would you want to be looking at girls who would have been interested in taking part?
