Thought it might be a good idea to start a thread as a go to guide for defender colours. We did this on the D2boysclub and it proved highly popular!
So the requirement are a:1 or 2 good quality pics of your defender b: the name of the colour It is a great way to build up a handy database of visuals My 109 thread my youtube channel |

Probably one of the most common perhaps?
Stornoway Grey....Can be difficult to distinguish between this and Orkney in certain lighting conditions. ^^ Like them in white
Mine is very Santorini black, in the winter even blacker with the Wolfs as in this picture. Had limited colour choice when ordering the SVX. If the sales gent at the time would not have said "you can order it in any colour you want, as long as it's black", I would have gone for Keswick or for another green. SVX edition prevailed over colour. But green for me is the best colour for any real LR, to know a Defender, a FFRR, or a D4.... Leave the Eewok and various Sports out of this. Click image to enlarge You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw Last edited by ericvv on 27th Sep 2015 4:37am.
