Full underbody protection
Hello
This weekend I drove to Bad Kissingen in Germany to the largest 4x4 fair in Germany.
Very nice and great looking cars and trucks.
Interesting demonstrations and products.
I saw the Ineos in the same mud where army trucks and unimogs passed.
Though LR did not show on the same spot they had their own LR Experience. I liked the Defender climbing a very muddy hill. Stopped half way just to continue its way with no slipping.

But what I really liked was the underbody protection by Matzker and the prototype of a full underbody protection for the new Defender made by Reul Parts from Belgium.
Unlike the matzker version which is made of many seperatetly available parts. The one of Reulparts is just 2 parts: front and rear full body.
Made of 8 mm aluminium and fixed with 4 bolts. Weighs about 52 kg and costs about 2200€.

Powerfuluk has shown these headlight protectors.
The idea is great but design problems
1) gets foggy inside due to condensed water
2) headlights with washing system the water can‘t flow off
3) probably problems with matrix LED as the light will be reflected in wrong directions

I saw these protectors on aliexpress the other day 22MY Defender 110 (actual) | 10MY Freelander 2 (history) | 15MY Discovery Sport HSE (history)

I think these protectors are a bit different from powerfuluk ones, they are more like grill type. Something similar sold by lucky8
