United Kingdom 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Java Black
Looks very similar to the Terrafirma e-locker that LRO are fitting in 110 in the new issue.

I’ve often though e-lockers are a neater solution, not requiring a compressor, but are there drawbacks? 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

England 2002 Defender 90 Td5 HT Epsom Green
I have the original KAM e locker with the built in limited slip.

Sadly no longer available as Terrafirma bought out KAM and only kept the drop in e locker (now branded Terrafirma)

On a side not I lent them my 90 to fit what was probably the last of that kind so they could be trained on how to cut the axle and fit it.

The drop in locker is the neater and quicker solution to fit.

The advantage to me, is no compressor, no air lines, no air leaks. It’s quiet, just a light clunk as it engages. Mines wired to the auxiliary battery and can be switched on without the ignition on, so added security if changing a tyre for example.

The limited slip was also very useful when I was competing at the British Army Navigation events, did not even have to think about engaging the locker.

My TD5 HT does not have factory traction control.

Hope that helps, please ask if any other questions. Thumbs Up
