Ministry of Defender aircon on a Td5

Hi Guys, my mod ac just arrived so I'm getting ready to fit it at the moment (welding in new footwells

) Has anyone here who's fitted it to a Td5 ran into any snags? It would be nice to have face vents but it looks like that's not possible on the Td5 dash

Terrible mid-build photos, but it is possible to let some classic mini air vents into the dash which gives you heating (or in your case air-con) which can be pointed at your chest/face. 1990 Defender 110 200TDI Camper - now converted to Td5 power

I fitted the MOD aircon to my TD5 (actually they did it for me) but I have the Puma dash so the vents are no problem for me as they are built in.

Did you see this page on the MOD website, it shows how you can adapt a MUD-style dash console to add in the heater controls and vents...
