New Landrover Part... (Dog)

New Landrover accessory...

After our cat passed away last 6 weeks ago the house hasn't been the same, we always said we would like a dog but felt it unfair on the cat who was 18.5 years old when she passed.

So now we have this... a bundle of joy and the house is a home again. So far 3 weeks on she seems very settled.

Currently I have a competition with the Mrs... on Instagram to get more followers than each other.... Sad I know... So if you want to help me follow me...

2012 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 CSW Santorini Black

So sweet, yet it brought a tear to my eye. Lost my furry friend of 16.5years on 5 July 2021. Similar breed, just cream colored though, I still miss him dearly, and life has not been the same since. Unlike a Landrover, that when it breaks, just get a new part and it is happy again, I do not yet feel that another dog can replace him....yet.

We were all recked when our cat passed and they are quite different than dogs...I didn't think it would affect me as much.

We have all manor of animals and it's very difficult losing one. You do think why do I want to go through that again...

Yet think of all the joy they bring, for us the house felt empty...

Time will come hopefully you feel you can offer another one a loving home.

Hi Stacey, it is exactly that "You do think why do I want to go through that again..."

They give you so much love and joy only to be taken away in one day. I should have prepared myself for that day, as the dog had become deaf, blind, and 3 weeks before we had to put him to sleep, he lost his sense of smell. His organs were failing, but signing for the euthanasia was the hardest decision ever. I dare to say that I loved him as much as my kids.... he was one of them after all. What I am sure though is that he loved me back more than them.

This is him when he was a puppy....I had a picture somewhere similar to yours, with him next to a bunch of soft toys and people could not tell which was the real thing

Ours has only been with us 3 weeks and already part of the family.

I hope as time passes you may look at giving a new one a great life.
