No, they're a straight swap. The studs will come up slightly shorter than you might expect but this is exactly how they would have come from the factory for both civilian and military models. It's not an issue as long as the nuts are torqued correctly - 170Nm.
I'm not sure about white wheel nuts The best wheel nuts IMHO are the blackened, closed end offering from Wrington Engineering. Not cheap , though. Paddocks sell some quite nice closed zinc plated wheel nuts which are not expensive.

Gosh I love that color mate! So I’m going with white wheels. I don’t think the black nuts would look correct. Any suggestions? |

Black wheel nuts are kind of the standard so I'm not sure that they wouldn't look correct I guess you could paint a set any colour that you like although they'd always likely be damaged in use. Beyond that, perhaps plated as Mo has suggested or bare stainless, which are also available off the shelf? Darren

Thanks Keith. I've moved on from them now, though. I ultimately decided that they were too dark as most of the time you couldn't see the detail and so have gone with body coloured Boosts instead. Darren

On my 130 have black steel wheels for summer tyres and off white steel wheels for winter tyres, nuts are just as they come ‘au natural’ looks fine on mine, but its a vehicle not a fashion accessory. 130 Puma HCPU with an Artica 240LR Demountable Camper

I found I got steering wheel wobble around 50mph after changing from boosts to wolf then after investigating I found a few rubber bushes were on the way out and the front swivel seals needed changing but for the difference I never had any wobble with the alloys maybe just coincidence but all is fine now I also swapped the front wheels to the back after doing the seals so I cannot say what caused it but it did show I had an issue with swapping from alloy to steel
