Where to source replacement bumper LED?
Last week I took ownership of a modified Defender 90. The previous owner has put on an aftermarket bumper with 4 round LEDs, one of which is not working. Assuming it isn’t a wiring problem, is there a good source to try and find a matching LED? From googling I can only see the bumper itself for sale.

This is what it looks like (but different LEDs):

Thanks

I too had this exact same issue. I checked it wasn’t the wiring by just swapping the plugs over that connected each led. Same led didn’t work confirming a duff bulb.

Then I purchased some new 70mm round leds to swap out (carmodshop). Took the bumper off to make things easier but the bolts fixing the bracket on were rusted solid. Also noticed a fair bit of rust where the end caps fix on. This in conjunction with the dire quality of my newly purchased round leds (Chinese specials) made me order a new bumper with leds in.

I had a right job finding one with 4 round leds in. Loads with the rectangular DRLs but the round ones seem sold out. Ended up getting one off eBay.

This is the company that uproar 4x4 source their DRL’s from for their bumpers https://www.cit-ltd.co.uk/eng_m_DRL-Lights-774.html

See second item https://www.cit-ltd.co.uk/product-eng-5868...Q-V11.html

Thanks both that’s very helpful. From the looks of things I’ll need to order 4 LEDs as it is unlikely I will find matching ones, and potentially a whole new bumper might be worth it

@pilsburypie how were the LEDs attached to your bumper? It look like they might have been glued in place on mine. I will have a proper look later in the week as the car isn’t local to me at the moment.

My leds had a bracket that bolts on the side of the led then 2 bolts at the bottom of the bracket mounting this to the bumper.

Depending on how old your bumper is, these bolts are rusted to hell. If my bumper was in better nick id have had to grind them off. But £70 for new lights or £170 for a whole new bumper and lights swung me when the bumper was rusty any way.

Those lights listed look better quality than the Chinese tat I bought.

Update on this, finally had a chance to take a look. Bumper all looks in good order and it is the light itself that isn’t working (not the wiring). Long term I will probably change the whole bumper and get some higher quality lights, but in the meantime I’m still looking for a direct replacement! The main wire out of the back of the LEDs aren’t connected to anything, and just the outer rings operate as daytime running lights. Here are some pictures, it would be great if someone knew were to look or even what to search for:
