The rules on what you can tow are different depending on when you passed your car driving test.

A trailer over 750kg MAM as long as the combined MAM of the trailer and towing vehicle is no more than 3,500kg
if I read this right ( big heavy trailer small light towing vehicle ) tall will end up waging the dog, but as max towing weight for interval types vehicles are set by vehicle manufactures and its kerb weight i.e. 85% of kerb weight unless its has towing weight restricted 750kg -800kg -900kg or no towing i.e. 0kg |
