how to tell how far the ABS sensors sit in the hub
Hi
I have a TD5 90 with ABS, i am getting the ABS and TC light issue! I have replaced the front sensors but still no joy, i am thinking there is too much of an air gap.

How to i tell how far the sensor should be in the hub , anyone got some photos?

I did not but original sensors, i purchased some good OEM's so I am thinking the copper/brass sleeve is stopping the sensor from getting pushed down enough.

really do not want to have to pay a LR dealer £100 for a diagnostic session, but its looking more likely now as MOT date is looming.

thanks in advance

new copper/brass sleeve for refit Question and (HIGH TEMPERATURE WABCO 5G) grease on sensors for refit ? and you have to clear dtc from abs ecu with nanocom or hawkeye

also have you check the plugs and wiring all the way back to the ABS ECU under driver seat as open cct or shorted between two wire will also give you a problem to and indicate as abs sensors fault
