Best R380 Full Carpet Replacement Set....
So next week Im going to be ordering a full new carpet set for the front of my defender as all the silent coat will be installed by then.
Ive seen the Bearmach ones and obvsiouly Exmoor trim, has anyone got any previous experience with these?

Ive seen some others as well which look fairly thin and cheap looking, Im wanting something thicker and more premium to give the interior a more of a updated feel.

i used the Exmoor trim one in the front of my landy, excellent fit, looks very good and appears to be long lasting 2016 Discovery 4
1989 90 CSW V8 (fully rebuilt and running like a dream)
1996 defender tray back fully rebuilt/loaded for challenge events

Just watched the Exmoor fitting video actually on youtube, looks very nice and good quality, 5mm thick as well so with the silent coat under neath will certainly help with sound and heat insulation.

Presume for fitting you just drill through the sill and attached with screws?

Another vote for the exmoor carpet set. Bought one for my 1999 csw, though there is a bit of trimming involved around the gearbox tunnel and seatbox. 1999 300TDI 110 CSW BMW 3.0

It says on Exmoors website only to use uptown 5mm of insulation underneath, anything over 5mm could cause fitting issues.

From memory it was - bulkhead / gearbox tunnel I just used silent coat along with the original insulation, seatbox was just the silent coat, but everywhere else was the silent coat plus closed cell foam then the carpet, which was the premium exmoor version.
I think the worse pieces I found to do was the seatbox as that had to be cut to fit the corners. 1999 300TDI 110 CSW BMW 3.0

Just awaiting some more silent coat to arrive as well, thats my weekend sorted Smile
Need to get some new ratchet spanners also for the old pig seat bolts.

Ah its a 15 week with them they told me at the moment.
Bearmach have about 10 in stock for the R380 gearbox, ordered mine yday comign today.
