I am about to trade in my L405 Range Rover for a 110 P300 HSE and NFU is giving me a refund of premium for the remainder of the year which implies that the L663 will be £280 per annum cheaper to insure than the L405. So presumably repair costs are part of that equation.

Encouraging then. Sounds similar to my experience too. So maybe it was just a yanky thing. Defender 90 HSE 250D 2022MY - Gave up after two failed orders

When TFL had a knock with their Tesla the first estimate was $2,000 which then rapidly went up to $10,000
![]() I guess that being a European vehicle will have an effect on parts plus as we all know it’s less paper work for the insurance company if they can just write it off. Brother in law a few years back had his car written off due to the colour of the paint and the insurance company would not respray the whole car following a minor accident. Surprised they did not get the dealer to make an assessment. |
