My 90 has 285 75 r16 tyres on 16 x 8 -32 wheels and roughly a 2 inch lift if that helps as a guide? To be honest it needs wider arches as it throws muck up the side which fills the door locks with crud and covers the mirrors in rain water but it's off the road at the moment. The suspension uses the Gwyn Lewis setup and no adverse effects on how it drives, it corners well and has plenty of suspension flex offroad.
I think you might find that 10 inch wheels are a bit on the wide side for 285 tyres though? Click image to enlarge 2005 Td5 110 Hardtop 1989 300Tdi 90 Soft top 1992 200Tdi 90 Truck cab with Land Cruiser axles |
