E-Ticketing
I am looking for some expertise / guidance in an area which to me is a complete unknown.

I am involved with our village firework display, which we cancelled last year due to Covid, and are currently deciding whether to run this year or not.

The event is completely run by volunteers, and in order to reduce contact with people at the entrance we are considering selling the tickets electronically, but I do not have a clue where to start.

The tickets are relatively low value, i.e. less than £5.00 each, so ideally want to avoid any significant % take out of the ticket price by anybody handing the sales, albeit I appreciate that there will be some cost involved.

Can anybody point me in a direction please.

One of the off-road clubs I’m a member of has used Eventbrite for over a year now, it allows you to monitor ticket sales and increase the number available if you want, means we handle no cash on the day of a run and know exactly who will show up whereas previously we had no idea how many would appear and the odd person slipped through without paying! Entrance fees are paid by credit/debit card to Eventbrite. It’s worked really well for us.
