I’ve got the chance of a VUX500170 unit which I understand was fitted to the Freelander (and possibly the Defender?) and looking to fit it into my 110 with the standard trim surround. Has anyone fitted one before and have any feedback on the quality / fit etc? Just looking for something standard, simple and reliable rather than go for something expensive for now.
Dimensions are 190mm wide x 102mm high x 190mm deep.

If its this one then easy to fit at least to a TD5 later dash the radio is very reliable with a good decent sound.. In fact, there is one for sale on this forum.
