What do you use to paint different bits?
I need to tidy up a few bits around the defender and I was just wondering what people use to prime / paint / protect?

So my bits are:

* Rear scene light - powder coat has lifted both ends
* Sliding window blocks - don’t know if this is better to just replace these
* NAS step - rusting
* Rear crossmember - small surface rust in one corner
* Tree Slider - Has a scrape from being stored
* New holes - Have to drill a couple to fit new lower door seals so how best protect these?

Thanks

If any of the items are powder coated you won’t be able get a satisfactory repair without completely stripping them and repainting or coating.

For any chassis type parts I’d be looking to use either Corroless or Buzzweld products.

For drilled holes, I tend to use waxoyl or Dinitrol to protect them 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
