Do not know internal size of 110, but the limit would be the doors opening. But if you go for the mattress without springs, you could roll it up without damaging it? 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

It's a spring one so limited opportunity for bending/folding. Think ill have to stump up for delivery. I could put it on the roof bars I suppose, but I'm too lazy to go and dig them out of the loft. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

every king-sized mattress I've ever got from Ikea has come vacuum packed and rolled up (even the high-end/top of the range ones with pocket springs) and we've been able to bring them home in a hatchback. We were always surprised to find this when we got to the self-collection area.
Might be worth calling and checking with Ikea. |

I actually took a Super King Matress to the tip in my 110 last week (NEW 110 not OLD)
Basically folded it in half and held it that way with a ratchet strap. Folded down the back seats Slid it in and was able to close the door. Used clearsight camera for the mirror... Super King is 1.8M x 2M King is 1.5 x 2M Folded it long ways so car accepted the 1.8M depth So 1.5M depth should be no issue. Last edited by Simon Audi on 13th Aug 2021 10:21am. I’ll check, but as I understand only the memory foam mattresses can be rolled and VCV packed. Coil sprung (as any Defender owner should be) have to kept flat. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS |

Our current mattresses are called Hovags, pocket sprung, and they were definately rolled (was a bit disconcerting) and we brought a superking home in an Aygo.

If you've not far to go the mattress vacuum wrapped rolled up straight on the roof with a couple of straps... job done

Thanks Phil, appreciate that a lot, it’s probably not worth the hassle, I’m just going to get it delivered. By the time a factor in the diesel and wot not Ikd not be saving much. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS |
