[For Sale] 2004 TD5 110 County Station Wagon - NOW SOLD
I have decided to sell my 2004 TD5 110 County Station Wagon, so looking for a good home!
Purchased in February 2014 (my 3rd Defender), driven mostly at weekends, and garaged when not in use.
Mileage is currently 139, 861, and it was serviced and MOT’d at the end of July.
This is a 17-year-old Landy (first registered January 2014), it is not a show car, it has been used and enjoyed, and the Zambezi Silver paintwork shows quite a few scratches, scars and scrapes. The bodywork shows the history of mine and previous owners and the doors are doing what Defender doors do! If I were keeping it, I would get the doors repaired and resprayed.
With 5 previous owners it comes with a lot of service history, and whilst I have owned it, it has been serviced annually, either by a mechanic friend, or my local garage. The chassis and bulkhead are solid, 1 small weld was carried out to the rear crossmember for the MOT. During my 7-years ownership, any works required, such as brake components, steering, suspension, have been carried out by my local garage. I have all receipts available for next owner.
Preserve and Protect (local to me in Johnstone, Renfrewshire) steam cleaned the vehicle in 2016, treating the chassis internally and externally with rust converter/protector and Dinitrol coating.
Mechanical works carried out during my ownership include:
Front discs, pads and callipers – for current MOT
Rear axle brake pipes – for current MOT
Swivels replaced
Steering box replaced
Fuel injector wiring harness replaced
Wiper spindle arm boxes and drive cable replaced
I have carried out several upgrades to the vehicle, including:
Internally:
Wright acoustic matting (front)
Mud seat rails to driver’s seat
XS front seats (heated) and cubby box
Exmoor trim rear seats (2 x high-back and centre low-back)
Pioneer DAB Bluetooth head unit and roof mounted DAB aerial
MSS internal window guards to rear load section
Momo steering wheel
Removable dog guard
Externally:
Masai spare wheel carrier
Rock sliders
Stainless steel hinges to all 4 passenger doors
Uproar 4x4 front bumper, with LED day running lights
Reversing cameras – 1 x high level and 1 x in rear crossmember
Climair wind deflectors
Wipac crystal halogen headlights
