2nd crack - Oil Filter Sandwich Adaptor
Hi all - still seeking advice. Want to install some gauges including oil temp and oil pressure. So looking for an adaptor or sandwich plate for the oil filter to give me ports for fitting the gauge sensors. Have the standard oil filter with black housing and replaceable filter element.

There's lots on the web but cant be certain they will fit - can anyone recommend the better quality ones to for the Puma 2.4 and the relevant specs I should be looking for?

The gauge connections are standard 1/8NPT but want to make sure the adaptor will fit and won't leak! (Got enough of those Rolling Eyes ).

Thanks in anticipation!

I think but am not sure that if you change to the 2.2 spin on filter arrangement you will have lots more options DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy

Because my cheep 'n' nasty black plastic bowl is starting to weep, I'm thinking of changing to a (sensible size) spin-on filter. Is changing to a 2.2 Puma filter assembly realistic?
The alternative would be to get an adaptor made up. To this end can anyone take a photo of the mating face on a 2.4 with (say) a ruler for scale so that I can forward it to Mocal (as in oil coolers)?

Thanks
PeeWee

Ah, that looks easier! And yes, I would use OEM parts rather than fleabay.

Thanks
