We had one of those years ago when the wife had a Discovery TD5.
Very stable but……. Only suitable for horizontal top tube bikes, ie road, gravel or older style hard tail mtb’s. This will not be ok with some suspension designs as you don’t want the weight of the bike on the rear shock. No idea if it will take the weight of two e-mtbs as they weren’t a thing back then, but again various suspension designs would again be a problem. It’s not future proof, ie change your bike with that of a different frame design and it may not fit. You will not be able to open the rear door at all without removing the bikes then the carrier. Personally we use a tow bar mounted fold up Thule, this is easy to change between vehicles, my 90, my wife’s following D3, Evoque, DS x 2 and the current Velar. A wheels on carrier means I can use it for my gravel, mtb and emtb without issues without issues or any second thoughts. Hope that helps. Worth asking a Discovery forum otherwise.  |

Cheers, yeh my bike is fine for the rack, no back door as it’s a pick up. Also asked on the D3 forum but no luck, think I’m gonna have to get something fabricated

Have you asked a main dealer?
I can’t find a part number just for the part you need but they should have in on their system unless one of the clever folks here has access to look it up. |
