Not sure there were ever any factory 6x6 Defenders. The closest I know of being factory were the Sandringham 6's built by Hotspur on behalf of Land Rover but they were based off a Stage 1 V8 not a Defender.

I remember Reynolds Broughton did a small run of 6x6 chassis. My friend in Germany has one of these and is a huge thing, from memory I think is a 170 wheelbase which was bought as a chassis cab with a 200Tdi direct from RB.

Land Rover did build a 6x6 version (Perentie) for the Australian army, Quite a bit of info on the web, and quite a few for sale on Gumtree etc.
