As you're Birmingham based I'd be tempted to take it to Ian Baughan at IRB - he's only up the road from you near Minworth.
Ian can tell you want you've got and if you need anything else doing before applying a map. He can also tweak the map to suit your needs whatever they might be |

i went with BAS for my remap, i have a device which i plug into the OBD and choose between standard, towing and race, if there is ever an issue or a dealer visit is required etc i can always put it back to standard.
After a lot of homework and research i decided on BAS because of the amount of knowledge Pete has and effort he has put into his work, 7 years later my engine is still going strong. i pretty my use the towing map as a good all rounder. i didn't think the remap would make that much of a difference but WOW it has completely transformed the whole drivability of the defender 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8 2010 110 XS Utility 2.4TDCI 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 (gone) 2007 Discovery HSE TDV6 (gone) 1993 110 csw 200 tdi (gone) 1994 90 HT 300 tdi (gone) 1994 discovery 300tdi (gone) 90 hybrid 3.5 v8 (gone) Range rover bobtail 3.5 v8 (gone) |

I went the BAS route - Pete Bell is great to deal with, difference in drivability is huge. Rgds.

I also went the BAS route. The 170 tune and the RRC tool are really fantastic, and Pete is very helpful and easy to do business with. Roaming around 🇳🇴🇨🇭

Thanks all. BAS always sounds like a solid option. However I might well give Ian a call at IRB first as he is 10 mins from me.
