United Kingdom 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS DCPU Santorini Black
30 amp ABS pump relay fuse blown
Evening all

One of my neighbours landed this morning with his 2010 90 SW which had been parked up since Nov last year. It had the brake light, ABS and TC light on.

The handbrake light would turn on and off as normal until the engine was started after which it stayed on. The TC light would come on as soon as engine started and stay on as would the ABS

On investigation the 30amp fuse under the drivers seat that feeds the ABS relay had blown. I checked the wiring and all was fine but when i came to the ABS pump wiring it showed a short which turned out to be the pump motor itself. I disconnected it from the loom tried to power it directly via a 30 amp fuse and it blew the fuse so i am assuming the motor has seized.

I do not know much about the WABCO modulator, do they seize if not used or if there is a leak internally? Any pointers or advice?
