Central locking 2nd row
One rear packed up & then the other went two weeks later! As you can see it’s quite clear what the problem is. It’s been fixed before by Landrover whilst under warrenty.

Are there any heavier duty looms available ( think I read it somewhere?) Next question is soldier & shrink wrap or small crimps?
Was going to put the joins well away from the rubber gators to stop them cracking.

Interesting notion of a "fix" - putting in a wire that's as inappropriate as the original one... Rolling Eyes

There are high flex wires used for measurement leads, for example. Or cables like Lapp Ölflex.
Personally, I would use crimped shrinks wrap connectors.

Quite! You’d have thought Landrover would have replaced the loom but no….like everything else they touched on the 110 repaired at the minimum price point!

All mine are now replaced with high flex wire and I've rerouted the second row door rubber sleeve to avoid the very sharp bend the halfwits at LR introduced. If you compare front and second row doors you'll immediately see why the second row fails more than the front.

I bet that the Grenadier never has this problem.
