I bought ~£100 of Bitcoin in Dec '17 when it was doing really well, and it kept going up and up. Then the crash happened and I ended up trading it (then worth around £60) for XRP, back in 2019 I think. I've bought the odd project here and there.
My greatest win? Would you believe me if I said it was the blasted Shiba Inu-faced Dogecoin?! I took a small punt back in January 'for the lols' and have been laughing my arse off ever since. Still have to work, though... 2003 90 TD5 Hardtop |

i know this is quite a bit of an old thread, but the lads are raving on about USA crypto coin thing?? use a app called Kraken, the lads send you a link through watts app, and they add you to their trading or what ever, So they get to the next level. They are making a few quid here and there, but it sounds like its a Pyramid type of scam.
Anyone here heard of it? i am looking at Bitcoin on Paypal, on buying it and then either selling it or trading, but id like to here what you lads are trading and what stuff you use etc. I am very much not keen on giving the world my bank details. i got the link that the lads use, and googled the site, it looks very much questionable if you look at it, and the reviews are very hit and miss, I think procta here will keep his money where it is belongs. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

I know people that have made a killing on crypto, but in the early days, and others that have lost a shed load including via theft / fraud. I've looked at it but I don't understand it, and so have continued with mixed portfolios that have done very well. Its hard enough earning it and easy to spend / lose it. If you have some spare cash, speak to a good Financial Advisor. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy. |

that's exactly what it was. My mate got wrapped up in one a couple of years ago, I smelt it was a scam straight away. Some lass he was chattin to on a dating app got him in on it. How it was worded made me laugh, and they even had a cute little video explaining it too, and people still fell for it A quick google can make a lot of difference Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

Have been working in this sector for about 18 months, and many of the exchanges have run into problems. As there are so many unregulated companies it's inevitable it has attracted many bad actors looking for a quick killing.
I would only look at the top 10 market-cap companies on something like https://www.coingecko.com/ only invest if you can afford to be wiped out, however, Bitcoin is halving next year est. April 2024, predictions are as high as $250k per coin (https://www.kucoin.com/learn/crypto/bitcoin-halving-countdown). Remember- Its all speculation in an unregulated market, so risks are high but so can the gains, if you want to burn the mattress cash Jumped ship to reliability - Mitsubishi L200 Puma 90 XS - Sold D3 - 2.7 S x2 (both Sold) Freelander 2 HSE - Sold Freelander 1 - Sold Disco 2 - Sold |
