I think that the door switch is one of those parts which hasn't changed much over time, and according to lrcat it would appear to be AFU4241L.
Info supplied without warranty however - check that the old switch looks like the new one! Very often if you remove the switch form the A-post you can clean up and improve the existing one, they are very low-tech (the lowness of the tech is matched only by the lowness of the quality!). Often too it is the earth connection (provided by the self-tapper holding the switch in place) which is the problem. I find that my door switches all benefit from periodic servicing to clean them and keep them working. |
