Alarm issues - part number assistance required
Thanks to this brilliant forum i believe my alarm issues are down to the drivers side door actuator being faulty

I have a 2005 90 station wagon td5 and despite searching and only finding 2007-2016 can't find the part number I require for my age of vehicle.

Any one know where I can look this up?

I think that the door switch is one of those parts which hasn't changed much over time, and according to lrcat it would appear to be AFU4241L.

Info supplied without warranty however - check that the old switch looks like the new one!

Very often if you remove the switch form the A-post you can clean up and improve the existing one, they are very low-tech (the lowness of the tech is matched only by the lowness of the quality!). Often too it is the earth connection (provided by the self-tapper holding the switch in place) which is the problem. I find that my door switches all benefit from periodic servicing to clean them and keep them working.
