[Free] Free stuff !
The untimely demise of the parent in whose garage I was storing many of my Landrover parts means that I need to downsize my storage and get rid of some parts without delay. As a result I am offering the items below free of charge to anyone who will collect them (I'm sorry but I am really not able to spare the time to sort out postage etc). Collection will be from the BH17 area of Poole, Dorset.
If you do want anything, send me a PM. The first person to PM for an item gets it, provided of course they collect it. Anything not taken will end up in the scrap bin or at the tip.
Item 1: Bradley MH35 coupling from a Sankey widetrack. This is complete but currently dismantled (photo is before I stripped it). The rubber bellows is split, but more seriously the gas damper has failed completely. I can't find a source of dampers except one for 300 Euros in Belgium, but if you know of a damper it would make a good coupling. The clowns at Al-Ko (formerly Bradley) simply refuse to help and are generally quite offensive.

Item 2 and 3: Two serviceable but scruffy standard steel tubeless Defender wheels. These are in need of a clean and paint but there is nothing wrong with them. No photo at present, I'm afraid, but you know what they look like (they are not fitted with tyres).
Item 4. Genuine and unused Defender jack of the high-lift, screw, "widow-maker" type. The base is a little scruffy from storage, the jack and handle are in the original bag and are pristine. You have to be mad to use one of these, but if you are mad and want one, you can have this one free! No photo at the moment, I'm afraid.
Item 5: The pathetic pressed steel wheel chock supplied with a Defender, unused and in perfect condition. I am too embarrassed by the crappiness of this even to carry it in my Defender, so it is yours for the collecting. No photo at the moment, I'm afraid.
Item 6: The original 3/4 tilt from my 2007 110 double cab. This is in fair condition with not rips or damage, it is in need of a clean. It is the early type (before zippers were invented) and has the rope loop fastenings for the rear curtain (better than zips in my opinion, but I know that I am in the minority on this). I seem to recall that one rope loop has come off. Overall it is fully serviceable, and it is free if you collect. Note that the hood-sticks and other metalwork is not included - it is just the tilt. No photo at the moment, I'm afraid.
Item 7 and 8: two complete LT230 handbrake assemblies, each consisting of the backplate, drum, brake shoes, expander, adjuster, and pull-off springs (they really are complete). One is off a TD5 Disco2, one is off a V8 Disco2 and has the heavier drum. Either/both will fit any LT230 (they'll fit a Puma Defender). They are in good take-off condition and would benefit from a clean, but there's no oil in them and the shoes are good. The cable is not included with either. No photo at the moment, I'm afraid.
Item 9: The horrible plastic intake duct from the wing to the airbox on a Puma. Take-off, excellent condition (well, as excellent as it was when fitted).

Item 10: The plastic heater intake duct from a Puma, the thing that runs from the wing intake to the heater, and on most vehicle almost joins on to the heater box. Good take-off condition.

Item 11: A pair of second row window lifters from a 2007 Puma. Good working order.

Item 12: Fuel tank guard from a 2007 Puma 110 (I think it is the same as a 130 too, but could be wrong). Serviceable take-off, needs derusting and painting/galvanising.

Item 13: Slider for DB-style coupling. This is not a DB slider but is compatible with the DB "ladder" (I think it is WItter, but can't be sure).

Item 14: Disco2 screen/headlamp washer reservoir.

Item 15 is now on its way to a new home.
I think that is it for the time being, I am sure there will be more stuff, and there will be things for sale in due course too.

I'm intrigued as to why you have a spare heater duct. Have you fashioned a more effective replacement, by any chance?Darren

Some good bits here! What colour is the tilt?
Photos of the tilt. I was wrong when I said that a loop was missing - they are all present and correct. The tilt is a bit grubby, there are some creases which will I think shake out in use, all four windows are intact and sound, and the aluminium strip that connects to the the bit on the front of the tub is present and correct. It seems too good just to bin, really. Make up your own mind on the colour (I have wonky colour vision!), it came off a Stornoway grey Defender.
