Inner front wing reinforcement?
The "plastic front wing" discussion made me think if anyone has tried to or thought about reinforcing the front wings (and bonnet) from the inside, instead of putting the usual checker plates on top?

I like the idea to be able to stand on them, but I see no point in "protecting" the wings by drilling holes and/or glueing checker plates to them. Confused

There's no reason why you couldn't with a bit of ingenuity, but I'm not sure that the painted finish would hold up well to being stood on. Darren
