Hi All, I need to vent
Is anyone else suffering since BREXIT, I live in Czech Rep and used to order many parts from Island4x4, John Craddock, Rimmerbros. Now I'm facing higher delivery charges UK side, long delivery times and totally random unknown currier charges once the package reaches Czech(Ransom fees). Its too big of a gamble to buy anything from UK businesses now if you live in the EU. This has got to be impacting the UK businesses too. Hopefully it can get resolved in the near future, for now I have to source products in CZ or Germany. Anyone else have similar experiences or a good solution ? Kev |

A mate got a text last week perporting to be from FedEx for a welder he bought which although the company had a UK postal address was actually send from Poland. Googled the text number and it's a scam, he ignored it and FedEx delivered it with no issues. I got hit by customs import duty years ago on a purchase from America and had to pay before it was delivered

So far I think my charges were legit, the curriers are covering their additional costs of custom clearances.
Its the unknown that annoys me, I order from UK and pay for double price now for delivery, then get hit by VAT charges which is expected but also unknown admin charges of the currier. I used to plan my packages to get as much in for the shipping costs, now I have to limit them to under 150 quid to avoid additional customs tax. I guess its the price i pay for leaving the UK |

Dave, what would you say is the best way to send small parcels to Spain? We have family there and regularly send gifts for Birthdays, Christmas etc, but the post costs are becoming ludicrous from the common named services. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS |
