Home this is the right section here for my question above.
One additional information for my problems: In 2014 I had a problem with a not documented fuse under the side seat. This fuse failed randomly while driving home from holidays. The engine stoped immediately every time the fuse failed - doesn't matter if you are in a tunnel or on a parking lot. After 3 hours of searching, it was an open cable in the engine wiring harness. Here in this forum, I am a member since yesterday, I found a description after 10 min. https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic14410.html?highlight=p068 This is great! The link to my current problem: The Code 41 "Alternator Output. Turn off all electrical loads" Could this be also an open cable some where? Thanks for looking! |

Talking to my self in this thread here....
Regarding the "Code 41 The vehicle conditions are incorrect: Possible causes: Alternator Output Turn off all electrical loads Attaching a battery charger pack may be required for vehicles with additional non-standard electrical systems" The battery shows just 11.8 or .9 Volt while the ignition is on. When the engine is running I got 14.2 volt. Can it be that the voltage of the battery is to low for the pilot correction run? Is it possible to attach a external battery loader while running the engine? Thanks if somebody is reading this... |

Hi slowmotion, it looks like this has been viewed 167 times, so people are looking but may not have a solution for you. unfortunately I’m not an expert in this area, but I’m sure one of those that are will give you their thoughts sometime soon.

Just to prove that someone is reading this, you will find that the pilot correction process is quite cranky, and will fail quite often for a variety of reason. The most common is probably the engine temperature not being in the acceptable range.
There is no reason why you couldn't hook up a second battery, or even an external charger/power supply, whilst doing this. Alternatively replace the battery and try again. |

It was not a criticism, it is just funny when I am answering my own questions, the good thing in this case: I am always right
I am not a electric guy; is battery with this voltage ready for an exchange? Thanks, Mario |

I don’t have any experience of this particular problem, but my first though was get it on a battery charger to keep the voltage up while you are doing the procedure. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I would suspect that the battery (or possibly alternator) could be on the way out. With the engine running you should not be getting the low voltage failure message. If you have access to a new battery or can borrow a battery from another vehicle, try it.

Forscan requires three parameters to be within limits before a complete pilot learn can be done. Coolant temp, inlet temp, and battery voltage. If any of these falls outside the parameters during the learn it will abort. Forscan tells you when you attempt to start if any of the conditions are not met.
If any are close to the limits when you start then probably they are causing the abort. Often it’s coolant temperature because these engines make so little heat at idle. Fully charge the battery before you attempt the process. On occasions I have had to run a hot air blow heater into the air inlet to get the inlet temp up high enough. 2011 130 Utility Body 2005 110 Van |

Took some time but problems are solved. I had a simulator for the EGR/AGR from tafmet.pl which was not working correctly.
After change the simulator everything is fine. |
