Power lead to the back: 90
I know there are several posts on this but none i have seen have taken the positive feed (2014 puma 90) where the battery lead from the battery attaches to the drivers side under seat fuse box ..Is this a no no? It is just a short run to the back of the 90 from there im surprised nobody appears to have done it........... I was planning just to run a 8 awg cable to the rear from there and use earth to the body somewhere at the rear ......Is this ok or is it best practice to have an earth contact direct to battery...

Cant see a real issue with tapping the power feed off at that point. You really need an inline fuse at the point your wire starts though to protect in the event of a short circuit.

the ARB wiring kit that I bought with my fridge has a nice bit of double strand wire, a fuse, and is grounded to the battery. its quite convenient to have some strong power at the rear of the vehicle.

I've done exactly that on my 110. I've got a 70amp cable from my second battery in the battery box to a fuse box in the rear (via a bus bar but that's because of the switching arrangements that I've set up). It's not difficult with a bit of thought given to the routing. Earthing is done locally at the rear.

It's 10mm2 and should be around 7mm in diameter. Darren
