Hey all, my tank has been leaking for a little while now, so a new tank ordered
Drained the tank Click image to enlarge And new tank ready Click image to enlarge All was going well, then I made my first mistake, I tried to remove tank without disconnecting the sender unit, so ended up snapping the fuel pipe This then followed by me not being able to remove the screws for the fuel pump So I know I need a new fuel sender unit, and a new fuel pump, prices are not too bad, but does anybody have a full list of parts I need? Also how on earth do I reconnect the snapped pipe? Buy the way, old tank was just a bag of rust Here a link to Advanced Factors, any idea of what I need to order? https://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/fuel-tan...3472-c.asp It's a 1992 130 Cheers Iggy/Ieuan ‐------------------------ Vehicles: - 1992 Ex-Mountain Rescue Ambulance 130/200tdi - 2005 Discovery 3 S - 2001 BMW 535i V8 |

Well the good news is, it doesn’t have a fuel pump! Well not in the tank anyway.

Right, parts ordered
Does anybody know if I can get a flexible connector or join, so that I can link copper fuel pipe to sender unit? The end of the pipe snapped yesterday Iggy/Ieuan ‐------------------------ Vehicles: - 1992 Ex-Mountain Rescue Ambulance 130/200tdi - 2005 Discovery 3 S - 2001 BMW 535i V8 |
