DVLA 'Change my vehicle details'
Hi guys,

Some will have seen I'm rebuilding a 130 with different motor and getting the truck resprayed a different colour.

My question to you is, how do I go about the legal changes with the wonderful DVLA, more specifically this section:

Had a good rummage on the interwebs for some guidance to no avail and though there's plenty of you chaps here that have done extensive mods.

My understanding is that you only fill out the parts that have changed. So for me that would be Cylinder capacity, Engine number, and New colour?

But my specific questions are:
Does the left most "date of change" need to filled for a change to Cylinder capacity (cc)?
Does the right most "date of change" need to filled for a New colour?
What is the "CLR" box to the right?
What written evidence is best for me? Can I just have "written confirmation on headed paper from a garage" (DVLA) despite having bought the vehicle before the change?
Can I be cheeky and send this off before the changes have taken place, given my experience with how dismally slow they are at doing anything other than tax and ownership change?

Cheers Thumbs Up Stuart
