Why no 700 nm D300
I note the Range Rover version of the ID6 has 700 Nm which I think need to be the target in the Defender. A great vehicle that I am interested in as a tow vehicle. More torque make a better tow vehicle.

England 2002 Defender 90 Td5 HT Epsom Green
Marketing and probably software or some form of restricters in the engine.

Remember the Defender TD5 was 122 bhp and the Discovery with the same engine was 134 or 5.

Why buy an older looking Defender when you can have the updated (at the time) Discovery that’s more comfortable and more powerful.

Plus to use that extra power do you really want a vehicle with a less than taught suspension set up…..
