Painting advice .......Again
Ladies / Gents

Can anyone give me an idea of how many litres of paint I would need to paint the chassis on my 110.
The intention is to brush / roller and spray can paint the chassis with 2 coats of my chosen paint.
I don’t have access to spray paint equipment and it wouldn’t be fair on the neighbours even if I did.

It has been suggested that I would need approximately 6ltrs of paint to
complete 2 coats on a 110, does that sound right?

I don’t want to be in a position where I have over ordered or even under ordered.

Kinda difficult one for me to gauge.

It would be nice to get some idea of what I should be ordering.

You are talking about the chassis only, right. Because 6 liters is way too much.
I think I have used around 1 liter of 2k paint, so need to add another 1/2 liter of hardner (total combines would be 1.5 liter). But that is spray painting, and is quite a heavy coat compared to the original paint.
That is excluding primers.
I guess brush or rolling you need as much (or more 110 being deeper and longer and more cross members) as will go on even heavier, but with less waste. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

I did think that perhaps that was being a bit over generous which was why I posted the question.
I think I should try half the amount that was suggested and see where that gets me!
