Follow up to an old post, the special seal fit perfectly. There is a gap between the non abs master and the abs servo. Once fitted a collared seal the brake pedal pressure feel great and the stopping power is better than before Can't leave well enough alone

Interesting Naf What is this collar you refer to? is it a bespoke part or a LR part?

Its a custom seal.
But any seal shop can make it easily. Measure the OD of the master and ID of the servo and you will be set. Can't leave well enough alone |

Excellent. I figured as much.
The important thing is that the physical connection of the ABS servo to the pedal is the same as non-ABS servo. The adapter seal is simple enough Out of curiosity what are the diameters of the ABS servo diaphragms? Would be interested in what the difference is in surface area to the non-ABS servo. |
