I was tempted too, for the Dormobile, then I could ditch the spacers but they only do 8” rim and that’s too wide for my 7.50
XZL’s I fear. Also have more urgent things to buy for it first🙂 |

Interesting that the starting bid for these is £750 for five, equating to £150 each, and they are collection only.
Brendan at 4x4Overlander currently lists these at £138 per rim (including VAT), with a variety of delivery options at extra cost. On the face of it you could save a minimum of £60 by not bidding on the ebay lot! |

That's primed not painted at £169, but agree Rob

True, I was misled by the photos which *appear* to just be black primed and the label on the box in the last photo which says "black primed". I didn't get as far as the description in which the seller says that he's had them powder-coated so that they perfectly resemble black primed wheels!
To be honest I would rather they had a paint finish to a powder-coat, since my experience with powder-coated steel parts on Landrovers is not good. At least paint is easy to touch in chips, and you don't tend to get rust and corrosion flourishing under the paint to quite the same extent. I am sure that the ebay wheels will make someone happy. |
