It's there to show muslims drivers which way to park their Defender when doing honor to their god.
Normally these navi systems are updated by the companies who build them as an international version. They don't care about regional preferences but just show any important infos and places. If you do (don't) know or like them is not an issue. Doing the navi system for everybody is much cheaper then building preferences for specific regions. I don't know who does the navi system for LR.
