Almost certainly a bad seatbox/ECU earth. Probably earthing through the handbrake cable. 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread

Yes it’s an earthing problem. Mine did it when I first got it. Easy fix too. 2002 td5 90 county hardtop

As above bad earth.
Its basically using the handbrake cable as the earth. Run a new one to the chassis. |
