Defender 110 200/300TDI CSW
Hi all, I'm on the lookout for an honest and solid 110 CSW. I've looked at so much grot and rubbish out there so I'm hoping a forum member might have something they are considering parting with. I'm located in Blackpool and willing to travel a reasonabe distance for the right vehicle. I have a budget of £7-£8k, but with a bit of flex for the right vehicle or rolling restoration. I'm really looking for a 200 or 300 tdi with a solid chassis/bulkhead. Please respond to adveert or PM me with anything iinteresting.

I've looked at some shockers for sale! Galvanised chassis - which was simply full of holes and painted with silver paint - never seen galvanising! 3 door vans poorly converted to 5 door station wagons, vehicles with dodgy MOT's clearly never been near a testing station - the sad list goes on! Buyer beware is my favorite phrase at the moment!

to be fair the days of cheap tdi are behind us now as they can be sent to the states so that pushes value up.
your budget will buy something needing love and tlc but as you have said there are plenty of sheds out there

i looked at 1 2 weeks ago in mcr. rad was almost gone rusty sludge in header tank, low oil no clutch fluid,no power steering fluid plus lots of other issues with a fresh mot it should not have had...

keep looking and fingers crossed you find one

Thanks to Trailbear Thumbs Up I'm now the proud owner of a Defender 300TDI. hopefully within the next week or so it will have an MOT and by ready for anything
