LRE Dunkeld is resuming Adventure Trek Days
Just had an email from the. Marketing lady at LRE Dunkeld saying that they are resuming their Adevnture Trek days shortly.
If you are coming up to Scotland during the summer this location is beautiful and well worth the cost of the day out on the Atholl Estates

Here’s a copy/paste of the email

Just to add that I have no connection to LRE Scotland I thought that in view of the rules regarding just pushing off off-road up here (you need the permission of the land owner to do it or go in an organized group with a permit0 then if you are coming up here on holiday this summer you might like to have the day driving on the Atholl Estates land legally. The centre is just off the A9 so it’s on your route to the NC500 start too. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Years ago I rented the place for a day out with the FreelanderClub which was very popular as it started out in the morning on their LRE training field - I had two cars drove up for the event from the south coast and one that drove out of the showroom in Colchester on delivery on the Friday morning and drove straight up there.
It is expensive to rent the site though but we did get 6 instructors drive with us to help those who had never driven a Freelander off-road before if they wanted extra courage. IIRC it worked out in excess of £200 a car I had to charge BUT I sold every ticket and had a waiting list of folks to come at short notice if someone dropped out. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

😆 👍 Yes, but you sold the main attraction 😉

It’s certainly a place I’d consider a trip to. And of course, I’d have to see the pub. 🍺 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV
