Unusual / scammer
This guy is at it again, but this time failed to get anything right. I don’t understand why some basic algorithms are unable to stop this repeat offender. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/393242020108

I saw his Fiat 500 under new "Defender 130" listings today. It's like they don't even try now. Makes me very concerned as to how much they're making off this given the lack of effort Confused Stuart

Microsoft did some research a while back on scam quality.
It seems that the more obvious the scam, the more efficient it is as making money. The scammer is able to filter out any credulous people early. That saves them a load of time with people who quickly realise it's a scam.

^^ That is a very interesting and very credible observation, but one I which wouldn't have occurred to me. I suppose it is a bit like passing an entry exam - you have proved that you are monumentally stupid and gullible and therefore easier to scam.

Maybe in this case folk think the advertiser is stupid and they might get a bargain. Who knows? It looks to me like the same person who was advertising a number of series vehicles for stupidly low money a few weeks ago.

It may well not be an individual, equally likely to be a group and / or some software that hacks / creates accounts and ads for items for sale. These ads increasing look like phishing mails etc, which are software generated. The trouble is with AI this software will get far better, to the point it will be hard to tell genuine from fraud.
